Frequently Asked Questions

What is the reason behind the move?

The move is driven by growth. X-ES has outgrown the space of their current facility and decided to build a new facility to support their current and future needs. The new facility contains both office and manufacturing space. It is roughly 2.5x the size of their current facility.

Where are you moving to?

X-ES' current facility is located in Middleton, WI and they are moving to Verona, WI. It is approximately 5 miles between the current and new facility.

Are you going to operate out of both facilities?

This move is a full transition to the new facility. XES will not operate out of the old facility once the move is completed.

Does this move impact/change SMT assembly?

The move only affects the final assembly, integration, and test work that X-ES does. SMT assembly is done out of house and those facilities are not changing with this move.

How does this impact shipments?

All shipments scheduled prior to the move date (planned for September 7, 2018) will occur at the current facility.

After the move, there will be a two week blackout period where shipments will not occur as X-ES completes the necessary setup, calibration, and quality checks. Once that is complete, we will work with each customer to support and facilitate the necessary audits and/or compliance checks that are required in order to resume shipments to that customer.

Will this move impact pricing?

There will be no changes in pricing resulting from this move.

How does this impact development programs?

For the design collaboration effort with our customers, the impact of this move should be little to none as it will occur outside of normal working hours. All contact information and mechanisms will remain the same.

Who do I contact with questions or concerns?
